Good to know

This North Joshua Tree cabin is the perfect secluded hideaway. Sitting on over 22 acres, our little homesteader cabin was built in the 1950's and went through a big renovation. A cabin feel with modern amenities including a brand new bathroom with tile rain shower, queen size bed, kitchen, ac/heat, wifi and outdoor shower. Pour over coffee from Joshua Tree Coffee Co and tea provided. Our very private North Joshua Tree location allows for unprecedented panoramic views of Joshua Tree. You don't have to worry about close neighbors with this uniquely perfect location. (Please note the national park is in South Joshua Tree so definitely drivable, but not super close) Vast unobstructed sunrises and sunsets can be enjoyed from the front porch or back dining patio (please note: we don't have blinds on the windows). If you are looking for a place to get away, but with the necessary creature comforts you will love this space. We are 15 minutes from Joshua Tree town where there are great little shops and restaurants. Honored to have Campover Cabin featured on Airbnb's official IG! We intentionally try to keep the homestead cabin experience a bit more authentic. There is no tv, microwave or blender. We are smack dab in the middle of nature. We do have an eco exterminator come, but there are bugs and wildlife that live in the desert landscape. It is their home too and part of what makes nature nature. :) Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley have great little stores and vintage shops, as well as plenty of dining. Pioneer Town is the home of Pappy and Harriet’s, so if you like live music and BBQ fare, this place is for you. National acts roll through here and it's a great place to catch a show. La Copine is a great restaurant. Also, be sure to check out the other artist shops in town. Having a reliable car is mandatory. Please note, our property is off of a dirt road. -- Recent guest feedback: "This place was my Joshua Tree cabin dreams come true. The space looks just as described and as shown in the photos. There was clearly a lot of attention given to the details to make the place feel welcoming, comfortable, and inspiring. The cabin is in a remote area and it feels super peaceful. The hosts were welcoming and responsive. They provided helpful directions to the cabin given its remote location. This was a magical stay, the perfect home base from which to explore the town and national park. I would stay here again and would recommend it." - Lynneth "Peaceful and relaxing stay. Enjoyed the breathtaking nights with the stars. Had everything you needed. The wifi was a plus and I was able to do some work. It's worth the experience." - Chul -- Locally hosted by Jenn, an East Coast transplant, who loves living in the desert and sharing this area with guests. If you need a recommendation or help during your stay, Jenn will be available and happy to help. Some fun things to do while in the area: - Go to a sound bath at Integratron or with one of our local practitioners. - Get an in-home massage by one of our awesome, local massage therapists. - Go on a private, guided hike - a favorite activity for guests! - Get a private Yoga or Pilates session. - Go on a star gazing tour with Sky Watcher Tours - another favorite! - Go on a private horseback ride and explore canyons, creeks, and desert wildlife. The cabin was so beautiful, perfect in all the little details that made it stylish and cozy. It’s very quiet, private and I loved being in the middle of nature and the magic land of Joshua Tree. The house is super clean and has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The record player a chic plus. It’s outside town but I loved it. Jenn has been very responsive to all the messages and I really thank her for everything. For sure if I’ll be back in Joshua Tree I’ll stay again.

A perfect desert retreat! The views are incredible and the atmosphere is wonderfully private. We loved the vinyl collection and the peaceful sunrises with our morning coffee. Finding the place was a breeze thanks to Jenn's great communication. We’ll definitely be back!
