We loved everything about this place. The huge common kitchen/living room was well equipped and beautifully decorated. The stargazing from the private balcony and the hammocks on the grounds was amazing and we saw plenty of shooting stars. The apartment itself was amazing as well - clean, spacious, beautiful, fantastic bathroom, and very comfortable beds. Having coffee on the private terrace watching the desert wake up was amazing. We will definitely be back. The dirt road to the property was very adventurous. I wonder how you would be able to find the place without GPS/cell reception. And we had problems getting into the property, as had other people staying at the same time. The door lock seems to work fine once you figure out what symbol you have to press before the actual code but the door won't open easily. I didn't really figure out how to open it in the two days we were there. Sometimes it just opened, other times it didn't. In any case, the host responded promptly when we contacted them about not being able to get in. A trash can downstairs and some hooks in the bedrooms would be a convenient addition. But the place is truly stunning despite all these little flaws.

We loved how spacious the property was, with different lounge areas and a fireplace. The living room and kitchen were cozy and perfectly clean. We also loved having good-quality coffee beans, a grinder, and a coffee machine - such a nice touch! It’s a very quiet, peaceful, and special place. Little rabbits were running around the property, which made it even more charming. We had a really relaxing stay, and the location is great, especially being so close to the national park. It’s a bit of an off-road drive. We made it in a sedan, although it would be easier if a bump on the driveway to the house were fixed. The rest of the road was ok.

Me encantó. Todo me encantó. Aunque hay perros ladrando por la noche yo creo eso es un toque especial más a tu escapada. El desierto es único.

Außergewöhnliche Lage. Man ist ganz für sich in absolute Ruhe. Das Haus bietet alles, was man braucht.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom appartment which had plenty of space and great bathroom facilities. The appartment itself as well as the impressively large kitchen/common room were designed in a consistent and very pleasing way. The kitchen was solid and very well equipped, eg with coffee + grinder + maker and filtered water. We loved the outdoors area which had many little pieces of 'desert art' and felt like a garden. We also really liked the area around the pool with fantastic view over the valley. The host and staff were very helpful and kind. nothing.

Guests are in charge of there own meals and the communal kitchen has all the needed tools for this. There is ample space for storage and everyone who is there. We liked all the other guests we met, there are 4 rooms, so it was quite lovely. The room could have some shelves, hooks, More hangars, places to set things down. There is unused space and this would have been better than putting everything on the floor.

La casa es hermosa. La habitación número 3 donde me alojé estaba limpia, bien acomodada y el baño estaba limpio, demasiado cómoda El único detalle que agregaría es que las almohadas son demasiado grandes y fue algo incómodo dormir.

We loved the house, our apartment was very spacious and it was nice to have the option for the hot tub. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to spend at the house, since we wanted to see things in the area. We wished we could’ve spend more time there, since we loved it so much. Host responds very quickly too. -

This place was such an amazing surprise. Driving down the bumpy and dusty dirt road we were questioning our life choices! How wrong we were. This place was the most peaceful and serene spot ever - I never got the whole desert thing before this stay. The silence, the serenity, the stargazing from the pool, the amazing sunsets. Jenn was so responsive and the shared spaces were so well stocked with everything you could need to cook a meal. This was supposed to be just a stop and walk a few trails in Joshua Tree before heading to the Grand Canyon but I have a feeling it is going to be a highlight of our Western USA road trip.

Gorgeous little b and b in the middle of the desert with dirt roads, cacti and all the charm. Huge kitchen and living room. The outdoor area was funky and super cool to hag out at.
